Government did not

Awami League General Secretary Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the govt didn’t procure the corona vaccine to profit anyone or for business interests. The vaccine has been collected within the interest of the people.

He made the remarks at a daily briefing at his official residence on Tuesday (January 26th) morning. He urged the BNP leaders to not spread confusion on sensitive issues like vaccines.

Asked how true it’s that the BNP is alleging unwarranted fraud even before the Chittagong City Corporation elections, Obaidul Quader said, “They are fabricating the parable of losing by making baseless allegations.”

The Awami League general secretary said it had been not right to make undue suspicion among the people and obstruct an honest deed unnecessarily. He said the people were happy because it reflected the implementation of Sheikh Hasina’s honesty and commitment.

Calling on the BNP to constructively criticize the party as a party, he said the people won’t take their lies about the vaccine under consideration as they did in the past.

Calling on the Prime Minister to possess confidence in him, he urged everyone to reject propaganda and skeptics.

Obaidul Quader, in response to Mirza Fakhrul’s allegation that the govt was committing massive corruption by depriving the people of their right to vote, advised Mirza Fakhrul to seem within the mirror.

Mentioning that only BNP features a record of farce within the name of voting during this country, the overall secretary of Awami League said, “People haven’t forgotten the February 15 voteless elections, Magura and Dhaka 10 constituency by-elections albeit BNP has forgotten.”
